General surface cleaner may suit washable surfaces when used at the correct dilution. Degreaser is reserved for compatible kitchen surfaces and appliances; it is not transferred to stone, wood or delicate paint. Glass cleaner is used on safely reachable glass with suitable low-lint tools.
Fabric products depend on the fibre, colour stability, care instructions and stain history. Bathroom descalers are used only on compatible surfaces and require the instructed rinsing and ventilation. Sanitizing is a separate request: the product, target surfaces, contact time and precautions must be defined before it is added to a quote.
Check the Finish Before Applying a Product
Marble and natural stone may be sealed or untreated and can be damaged by an unsuitable acid. Wood and parquet generally require limited moisture. Stainless steel needs a non-abrasive approach, and upholstery may need a small hidden-area test. A photo and any care label are useful when the surface is uncertain.
A stronger product is not automatically a better choice. We read the label, consider dilution and avoid mixing products. Chlorine-based products must never be mixed with acids or ammonia because dangerous fumes can result. The working area should be ventilated and kept safe for occupants.
Children, Pets, Allergies and Occupied Homes
Tell the coordinator if children, older residents, pets or people with known sensitivities will be present. Mention any product restrictions and rooms that must remain available. We can then discuss the suitable task order, ventilation and when a cleaned area can be used again. A cleaning quote does not imply a medical or allergy outcome.
Before the team arrives, move medicines, food, delicate personal items and important documents away from the areas being cleaned. Ask about the actual product used if you need that information for your household or building rules.
